Another Rainy Day

Another day older and another rainy day in Van City. Much like yesterday we all kept a low profile with Karen heading out for a quick shopping trip and taking KC (the artist formerly known as Cathy) back into the Big Smoke after spending the night with us.

Grady and I enjoyed some quality bonding time sitting in our underwear watching football (Go Lions/Steelers) and the Treehouse Network. Its funny how much TV watching habits have changed since the little man has discovered the glowing box known as TV, I think I already know all the theme songs of all his favorites (disturbing when I catch myself humming the Toopy&Binou theme song at work).

We also were visited by Karen's sister Debbie and her son Jordan for a play date with Grady. Wow! The two of them have a blast and can turn a house upside down in seconds (please let it be a girl, not that will make much of a difference). With only a few blow-ups these two love the rough stuff which I get a kick out of but the moms not so much. Only problem is getting them to stop, dinner time was a gong show with both refusing to eat because the had more important things to do such as play paratrooper off the couch. With a little convincing we got them to eat with the promise of dessert. You can watch their enjoyment of the fifth food group sugar on our link section under our videos. I will hopefully add a new video whenever I can to the You Tube site (man wish I'd come up with that idea: 1year of existence and your products bought out for millions).

Things are starting to shape up for Karen's support team for the babies arrival with Debbie confirmed and KC on call, with Karen's friend from work Ang and possible Loretta and Marleen on board I will kick back smoke like a demon and worry about fainting. Just kidding.
Well going to keep it short today and get some rest for tomorrow. Big poker tourney at the River Rock Casino, my present to myself so wish me luck and I fill you in on how I did (all I have to do is not get put out before Clint).
Cheers John
